Established in 1996, MODERN TECH CORPORATION (formerly known as MODERN TEKNIKA CORPORATION) has developed a fine-tuned and successful synergy between innovative technical solution and solid company-client relationship, resulting in new dimensions in giving satisfactory products and services.

Modern Tech Corporation was inaugurated as a full-pledge company last 1st of August 1996 with Michael Tex G. Carvajal as president and Alan G. Carvajal as vice president and general manager. With humble beginning, the company started out with four (4) employees and later on added another thirty-six more personnel to aid additional workloads. In addition to its growth, Modern Tech Corporation is now composed of three dynamic divisions: printing, audio-visual and communications.

AUDIO-VISUAL

Modern Tech Corporation markets all kinds of audio-visual equipment from overhead projectors, slide projectors, opaque projectors, desktop projectors, boardroom projectors to the latest Digital Light Processing (DLP) projectors. White screens, Panaboards, and even laser pointers can be provided by the company – making its way to provide your immediate audio-visual needs both services and rentals. Among our valued clients are the different chains of hotels in Cebu, the different schools and universities, business establishments, different communities and organizations, and individuals conducting seminar, trainings and conferences.

PRINTING

Modern Tech offers marketing digital duplicators as well as offset printing equipment providing best quality of media outputs. More so, the company supplies well known printer brands such as Gakken® Digital Duplicator and Duplo® Digital Duplicator. The company serves as the authorized service center for these equipment brands in Cebu as well as for the whole Visayas and Mindanao areas. In addition to digital duplicators, the company is also offering microfilm processing having its own laboratory in Cebu.

COMMUNICATION

Modern Tech is an authorized dealer for Smart Telecommunication, Globe Telecom and Sun Cellular phones. The company also markets various brands of cellular phones namely Nokia, Motorola, and Sony Ericson as well as their respective accessories.

As part of the emerging world of faster communication, Modern Tech Corporation recently ventured into ticket sales of various airlines and shipping companies both foreign and local. The company is happened to be an authorized booking travel agency for Trans-Asia Shipping Lines, Sulpicio Lines, Cebu Ferries, Supercat and WG & A. Meanwhile, for airlines, the company is also a booking travel agency for Philippine Airlines and Air Philippines, Seair and Cebu Pacific Air.
